Innovation Kitchen — learning, making and working together
A technology hub with a school, working laboratories, coworking and everyday hospitality.

I developed Innovation Kitchen as a place where education, technology businesses and everyday working life could support one another.
Innovation Kitchen connected additive manufacturing and 3D technologies with education and working life. A democratic school occupied the second floor; coworking occupied the fourth. Resident teams worked in ceramic 3D printing, implant research, body scanning and digital documentation of the city.
The development proposition was to bring pupils, entrepreneurs and technical teams into the same environment. Space, resident mix, food provision and public programming were treated as parts of the operating product.
Kwambio, A.D.A.M., 3DLOOK and Pixelated Realities are examples of the resident companies. Their technologies and achievements belong to those companies. Sidi Room provided the hub’s everyday café and school food offer.
