Grundsteingasse — new homes above historic walls

Through my construction business, I worked on the conversion of unused attic spaces at Grundsteingasse 34 into five new homes, with terraces and a balcony. The brief brought new residential space into an existing urban building.

Our construction package took the works to the finishing stage, with electrical, plumbing and lift installations carried as separate packages. It also included renewal of the façades. The retained project record documents completion of our contracted scope in July 2020.

The gallery moves between the proposed design, the existing building and the works at completion. Architecture and structural design belong to the appointed designers.
