Research brought into public view
Art, science and public engagement across three cultural venues.
VERUM IN GRANO presented the Ukrainian Biodiversity Protection Foundation to audiences in Odesa in autumn 2020. The programme ran at the Fine Arts Museum, SiniY Crab art space and an open-air gallery on Arkadiiska alley.
I contributed funding to the public programme, a biodiversity monitoring publication and rebuilding work at a research station. The exhibition included Igor Gaidai’s works, an opening performance, a lecture and masterclasses.
Both indoor venues extended their exhibition runs in response to demand. The organisers reported more than 4,000 visitors across the programme. The accompanying films document the actual events and places.
